Founder of SEWA, Padma Vibhushan Ms. Elaben Bhatt, visits Swaminarayan Akshardham

The founder of Self Employed Women Association – SEWA and Chancellor of Gujarat Vidyapith Padma Vibhushan Ms. Elaben Bhatt visited Swaminarayan Akshardham, Gandhinagar to experience India’s ageless beauty, borderless culture and timeless values.
Ms Elaben Bhatt was welcomed with a garland by volunteers of Akshardham. She offered prayers for peace and harmony by offering ‘abhishek’, the ceremonial pouring of sacred water upon the murti of Shri Neelkanth Varni. She watched the unique Vedic water show ‘Sat-Chit-Anand’, a theatrical presentation about the ancient Upanishadic story of young Nachiketa, depicted with help of modern technology including fire effects, fountains, lasers and projections.
Sharing her experience at Akshardham, Ms Elaben Bhatt wrote, “Here I have seen a unique water show. An ideal example of spiritual learning – especially for children and youth. I personally experienced that my mind is developing in a noble way.”
