World Junior Chess Championship Players Visit Swaminarayan Akshardham, Gandhinagar, Gujarat.
The players and officials of the World Junior Chess Championship 2024, organized by the Gujarat State Chess Association, visited Swaminarayan Akshardham in Gandhinagar. The visit to Akshardham by the best young chess players from all over the world gave them a glimpse of the rich cultural and spiritual heritage of India.
Warmly welcomed by the volunteers of Swaminarayan Akshardham, the players and officials were mesmerized by the architecture and unique carvings of this magnificent temple. In addition, they were delighted to learn about the history of the Akshardham Maha Mandir and its cultural significance. The young chess players, from diverse cultural backgrounds, were greatly impressed by the grandeur and tranquility of the temple.
Sharing his feelings about the visit to Swaminarayan Akshardham, Dev Patel, President of Gujarat Chess Association, said, “We are thrilled to provide these young chess champions with an opportunity to experience the rich heritage and spirituality of India. We hope that this visit to the Akshardham Temple, a symbol of peace and unity, will inspire everyone, and the memories of the memorable times they spent in Akshardham will always stay with them.
