Earth Hour 2024 Observed at Swaminarayan Akshardham, New Delhi

Swaminarayan Akshardham in New Delhi participated in Earth Hour 2024, organized by the WWF (World Wide Fund for Nature), in support of protecting our planet.
Earth Hour encourages individuals, communities and organizations to turn off their lights for one hour to symbolize a commitment to positive environment impact. BAPS Mandirs turned off its non-essential lights to observe Earth Hour from 8:30 to 9:30 pm on 23 March 2024.Earth Hour is the the world’s largest environmental event and a global movement which unites millions of people across the globe showing commitment to the planet.
Inspired by His Holiness Mahant Swami Maharaj, BAPS is involved in Earth Hour and many other sustainability initiatives as part of a broader commitment to support positive environmental practices.
