NEELKANTH AND SAHAJANAND – HALLS OF VALUES

Experience timeless messages of Hindu culture presented in these exhibitions. Each exhibit giving a fresh experience, a new message and a novel presentation. These exhibits portray values like non‐violence, perseverance, prayers, morality, and family harmony using different multimedia technologies like audio‐animatronic figures, immersive projections and 3‐D dioramas.

CHHAPIYA

The divine village where Bhagwan Swaminarayan took birth. This authentically reconstructed miniature model will whisk you away to 18th century Chhapiya. Observe the layout of the village, discover Bhagwan Swaminarayan’s home in the center, and spot the water-well in front. Look for the lakes where He bathed, the trees where He played, and the messages He revealed. This model village is more than a geographical display - it is a physical representation of Bhagwan Swaminarayan’s divine and miraculous childhood.

SUNDARVAN

Walk in the footsteps of Neelkanth: cross the mountain, walk across the rope bridge, and see Neelkanth as He meditates on the 14,500ft high peaks of the Himalayas on the banks of Mansarovar. Carve your way through the jungles of Assam and face the dangers of tigers and pythons. Wander the caves and rainforests as you follow Neelkanth’s seven year, 12,000km journey through India. Pass through the silent shores of South India and end your pilgrimage once you arrive on the sacred soil of Gujarat.

LIGHT & SOUND SHOW

Settle down for a few minutes and listen to the tree tell you why Neelkanth settled in the village of Loj on that August morning of 1799.

AUDIO ANIMATRONICS SHOW

Witness the auspicious ceremony when 21-year-old Neelkanth is established as Guru and spiritual head of the sampradaya. Listen first-hand to His selfless prayers for the welfare of His devotees.

500 PARAMHANSAS

The “Hall of Paramhansas” is a grand tribute to the pure and selfless saints of Bhagwan Swaminarayan. Five hundred glorious golden murtis surround the equally glorious murti of Bhagwan Swaminarayan. The walls sing the glory of some eminent saints, and bronze hands exhibit the sacrifices these paramhansas made in order to uplift society.

MANDIRS

Experience the meaning and majesty of mandirs in this immersive experience. The traditional mural brings alive the history of worship from the pure forms of nature to the pinnacles of the mandir. Visitors literally enter the stone mandapam, stand beneath the translite domes, and study miniature models of the mandirs built by Bhagwan Swaminarayan.
