Sikkim Chief Minister Prem Singh Tamang ‘Felt Very Stress-Free and at Peace’ by Visit to Swaminarayan Akshardham
Sikkim Chief Minister Prem Singh Tamang, along with his family and Sikkim Minister of Urban & Housing Development, Food & Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs Arun Upreti, visited Swaminarayan Akshardham in New Delhi.
Chief Minister Tamang was traditionally greeted by senior swamijis on behalf of His Holiness Mahant Swami Maharaj.
The Chief Minister and his family offered their respects at the Swaminarayan Akshardham Mandir and performed abhishek of Shri Neelkanth Varni. They experienced the Neelkanth Darshan – a Giant Screen film on the epic journey of Neelkanth Varni throughout India, the educational Sanskruti Vihar boat ride through India’s 10,000-year heritage and contributions to society and also the Sahaj Anand Water Show that depicts a timeless message from the Upanishads using modern technologies.
Regarding his visit to Akshardham, Chief Minister Tamang noted, “It was a great opportunity for me to visit this place. I felt very stress-free and at peace.”
